British Columbia invited 354 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination with the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).
Candidates were invited for Canadian provincial migration through the Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration streams on the weekly BC PNP draw held on October 27.
For the Express Entry stream, candidates were invited under the Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories.
The Skills Immigration stream included the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, and Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled subclasses.
The minimum scores required by candidates to obtain an invitation to move to Canada in this draw were:
- Express Entry (Skilled Worker) – 92 points;
- Express Entry (International Graduate) – 93 points;
- Skills Immigration (Skilled Worker) – 93 points;
- Skills Immigration (International Graduate) – 94 points;
- Skills Immigration (Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled) – 75 points.
To apply for Canadian immigration with the BC PNP, candidates must create a profile on the BC PNP’s online portal and register under the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
Applicants are then given points on various factors such as age, education, work experience and proficiency in English or French according to Canada’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
The highest-scoring candidates on the CRS are then invited to travel to Canada and use their provincial nomination to apply for permanent residency in the country.
