To study in Australia as an international student, you must meet several academic, financial, and personal eligibility criteria. Below are the key requirements:
Identity
A valid passport is essential for all international students. You must provide a scanned copy of your passport, ensuring it is valid for the intended duration of your study in Australia. Additional identity documents may be required based on your application and institution.
Age
There is no official age limit for most study visas; however, students under 18 years must meet special welfare and accommodation requirements. Some institutions may have age-based eligibility for specific programs.
Character
All student visa applicants must meet Australia’s character requirements. You may be asked to provide a police clearance certificate or complete a character statutory declaration. The Department of Home Affairs will assess any past criminal history.
Language
Proof of English language proficiency is mandatory for most courses. Accepted tests include IELTS, PTE Academic, TOEFL iBT, or Cambridge English. The minimum score varies depending on the institution and course but generally ranges from IELTS 5.5 to 7.0 (or equivalent).
Education Background

Bank Statement
